To customize your veneers, your dentist will first remove a thin layer of enamel from each tooth receiving them. Then, a custom mold will be made of your teeth. The mold will then be sent to a lab, where your veneers will be crafted in the shape and color of your choice. Keep in mind that because your dentist is removing some enamel, you will always need to wear veneers to keep your teeth safe, so you should be prepared to replace them within 15 to 20 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once your new veneers are ready, they will be sent back to your dentist\u2019s office, and you will return to have them applied. To do this, your dentist will attach your veneers with a special dental cement that seamlessly secures them into place.  After your appointment, you should not be in any discomfort, and you can return to your daily life without any downtime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
